Over the Rainbow Playhouse

We are rainbow obsessed here at our house, so much so that rainbows are the theme of my daughter’s room! I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to do for your little playhouse out back, and It came out better than I dreamed it could be!

The balloon arch is the real star of the show here! This took a ton of balloons to construct! Thank goodness for my little balloon buddy! My fingers were so sore and blistered from tying all these, but to me it was worth it for the sake of my art! (haha) I bought two different packs of balloons, one was a rainbow pack in bright colors and the other was in pastels.

I bought the wooden pots of gold from the Dollar Tree and painted them coral and metallic gold. I cut out some clovers on some green paper and stuck them on the wall. For the window boxes, I bought some baby’s breath and spray painted them in an ombré rainbow hue! This came out stunning and it looked so whimsical! The whole look tied together with the “Over the Rainbow” garland from Kalio Chic!

As if the playhouse wasn’t cute enough, I had to add to the cuteness when I saw these adorable “Shenanigans” shirts drop by The Neu Company! The kids had matching mustard pants and tights that worked perfectly with the tee and because it is still cold out, I bought them both a green sweater for on top! They looked like little leprechauns frolicking through the forest!

This might be my favorite playhouse party yet!! Who is looking forward to more?!!
